The world is global and things are changing
We believe in doing things for a reason. We focus on the ‘Why’ and this is important to us.
Farid started Take 3 Innovate after pure frustration on how innovative practices were being partly used or misused. Companies were playing the risky game of innovating with every innovation vehicle possible, accelerators, start-ups, internal innovation and basically burning money, hoping something would stick.
They never started with the reason they were building this. The KPI’s were never aligned to innovation. Businesses were trying to be start-ups. But they are not. And consultants peddling “Get your company to be like a startup” thinking were selling a dream. An impossible dream.
Start-ups were being driven by unicorn stories. No one was focusing on what was good for the start-up 5 years from now. Government and private money was giving them false hopes, dumb money is worse than no money.
It just seemed like the innovation and disruption field was a lottery, being run by ex project managers, executives who went to Singularity and still couldn’t get the concept of innovating as an input.
So we started Take 3 Innovate. We bring together a collective of consultants, advisors, change makers, and people wanting to make an impact.
Organisations have always been for shareholders, but now organisations have to exist for the product, the vision and to stay relevant in the long run.
